The Palm:
The Palm (or Pocket PC) is very easy to use, everything is menu driven through a large touch sensitive screen. The driver will normally master the Palm within 15 minutes.

The driver's Palm is also a mobile phone and can be used away from the vehicle. So even if your divers are away from their vehicles they are never out of touch with the office.

GPS Tracking:
GPS calculates the closest plot with a 5 metre accuracy. The CMS desktop shows you with its on screen map exactly where all your vehicles are.

Copilot Navigation Software:
Copilot is the most popular satellite navigation software package available in the UK. It is highly accurate to house number anywhere in the UK. 

Smart, Sleek, and Portable:
XDA Orbit is a smart and stylish device ideally suited to even the most up-market of vehicles. Portability means it is ideal for airport work, because the unit can be removed from the car, and the driver can remain in contact with the office, and refer to job details.

Communication via GPRS means reliable nationwide coverage, so you can stay in touch with your cars wherever they are. Additionally, our unique relationship with GPRS providers O2 means costs are low, and you benefit from the kind of quality support you would expect of such a renowned company.

Intelligent Location Plotting:
The XDA internally stores knowledge of your working area and uses GPS tracking to monitor its current position. Because of this, the unit always knows exactly where it is, and will only send location transmissions when they are required (for example after a set period of time, or immediately after a zone boundary is crossed). This significantly reduces the amount of non-essential communication traffic, thereby reducing GPRS costs.

Features of Palm application:

Driver Login:
The driver can log in from their own location and the controller can see his current availability. The driver can also see the current job/pick-ups in the area of his presence and accept it by communicating via Palm and to complete the job.

Jobs in the plotted zones:
Different jobs in the zones made by the controller can be seen on the Palm. The jobs can be in the distant zones or in the area where the driver is currently located.

Automatic log off:
This feature automatically log off the driver from the controller base if any of the legal requirements have not been meet or any of the fees have not been paid to the company. The best example in this case is the non payment of the rent, insurance, MOT etc.

Palm Application integration with GPS:
The Palm Application supports GPS integration. GPS would be available as an integrated or a separate device connected to the Palm through Bluetooth. 

Daily Jobs Record:
Drivers can easily maintain a record of the jobs done on a given day as well as of all the past jobs done by them. All the records can be reconciled with the controller database.

Message sending to controller:
Drivers can send and receive messages from controllers and a full record of the communication can be saved for the future reference.

Panic functionality:
In case of any mishap, the panic functionality helps the drivers let the controller know of the situation in order for them to ask for help from the Police or other rescue services.

Accepting/Rejecting jobs:
 The application has the ability to accept/reject job requests from the controller (Note: Once the driver accepts the job he won’t be available to go back to the main screen). The driver will be focusing on the current job he will have the ability to change the job status e.g.
